Who Should Attend & Why

The value of this training is an integral part of the National Preparedness Guidelines as set forth in HSPD 8 and is FEAM/NPD/NIC/TEI certified curriculum. This is a Planning/Management level course that is designed for jurisdictions that have already taken the 2-day Threat and Risk Assessment (MGT 310) course offered by DHS/FEMA and want more information and training on how to fully assess and reduce vulnerabilities of local critical infrastructure and key resources (CI/KR). However, the MGT 310 training is not a mandatory prerequisite to attend this training.

Additionally, discipline/entity “networking” is accomplished over the two-day class and participants, divided into teams, work through the process utilizing their expertise and professional knowledge, skills, and abilities: contributions from those present in performing the tabletops validates the comprehensive, thorough, and precise assessments.
